Who this document is for

This section is for the couriers who deliver on the platform and for the partner venues — restaurants, shops and pharmacies — that sell through it. It applies wherever the relationship differs from a customer’s; where it does not differ, the general terms of service and the privacy policy apply.

A courier’s status and the data we process

A courier works on the platform as an independent contractor, chooses their own hours and is under no obligation to take a shift. They may accept or decline any offer.

We process: name, phone number, document photographs (identity card, driving licence, vehicle papers), vehicle type, bank account (IBAN), shift times, accepted and declined offers, delivery times, rating, cash-on-delivery records, earnings statements and GPS position.

A courier’s location

Position is only read while a shift is open. Closing the shift stops it. During a live delivery the position is shown to the customer on a map, and the courier’s name and phone number only in the scope of that one order. The position trail is deleted after the period in the privacy policy; once it has gone, the platform cannot say where a courier was on a given day.

Partner venues

We process the venue’s staff accounts (name, phone, role), its menu, prices and opening hours, its order history, and its commission and payout statements. A venue sees only the orders of its own branches; it has no access to another venue’s orders, customers or statements. A customer’s name, phone number and address are shown to the venue only to fulfil that order, and only while the order is live.

Pay, cash and settlement

A courier’s earnings are calculated from a base, the distance and waiting time; tips go to the courier in full. Cash collected on the doorstep is recorded as owed by the courier to the platform until it is handed in. A venue’s payout is transferred per settlement period after commission. Every money record is written into the ledger and is not deleted when an account is closed.

Ending the relationship, and your rights

A courier and a partner have the same rights as a customer: to get a copy of their data, to correct it and to ask for it to be deleted. The same rule applies, though: the person is erased, and the accounting records — earnings statements, commission, cash hand-ins, invoices — are kept for the statutory period. Document photographs (identity card, driving licence) are not kept beyond the period the law requires once the relationship has ended. Write to the email address above.
